Role Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial records.
This role is responsible for managing accounting processes, supporting financial reporting, and maintaining strong internal controls to ensure effective financial management across the organization.
The successful candidate will supervise accounting activities, including general ledger management, account reconciliations, month-end and year-end closing, and preparation of financial statements.
You will collaborate with finance and cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support audit and reporting requirements.
Key responsibilities include overseeing accounts payable and receivable processes, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing management reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, coordinating audit processes, and identifying opportunities to improve accounting efficiency and controls. The role also involves providing guidance to junior team members and supporting the implementation of accounting systems and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent qualification is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
- Experience with ERP systems, accounting software, and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail with high levels of accuracy and accountability.
- Ability to interpret financial data and prepare clear and accurate reports.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are considered an advantage.
