Compensation

• Compensation is AED 22,000 to AED 25,000 plus statutory benefits; the structured salary indicates monthly pay.

Main responsibilities

• Establish a disciplined monthly reporting process and deliver accurate, timely management accounts, profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports with supporting analysis.
• Provide meaningful management reporting and KPI dashboards for the Regional Director.
• Lead the annual financial reporting cycle, improve efficiency and audit readiness, and strengthen financial controls, governance, and compliance.
• Improve cash flow forecasting and optimize working capital through AR, AP, and treasury management.
• Improve supplier payment efficiency and scheduling, supplier credit management, debt collection, and customer credit control.
• Partner with IT to automate customer invoicing, supplier invoicing, and financial workflows from the proprietary booking platform.
• Ensure accounting, taxation, legal, and audit requirements are incorporated into finance-related system developments.
• Lead and develop a team of five accountants, promoting accountability and continuous improvement.
• Ensure management has confidence in the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial information.

Qualifications and prerequisites

• Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, CPA, or an equivalent qualification.
• Proven ownership of month-end and year-end reporting, management accounts, and full financial statements to tight deadlines.
• Hands-on experience with cash flow forecasting, working capital, treasury, and AR/AP management in a high-volume transactional environment.
• Experience partnering with IT on finance systems and automation projects, translating accounting, tax, and audit requirements into practical system developments.
• Experience leading a team of accountants and producing KPI-driven management reporting.
• Exposure to the travel, tourism, or technology sectors is advantageous.
