Supports financial reporting, accounting, and controlling activities in a manufacturing environment.
Maintains accurate financial information and works with the Finance team and other business units.
SAP and financial systems
- Use SAP to record, process, review, and extract financial data.
- Generate financial reports from SAP and check system-generated information for accuracy and consistency.
- Identify transaction or reporting discrepancies and help resolve SAP-related issues.
- Support system enhancements, reporting automation, and process improvements.
Financial reporting and accounting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.
- Maintain financial records and documentation, and investigate discrepancies.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with journal entries, accruals, provisions, and other accounting adjustments.
Audit and compliance support
- Follow internal financial policies, accounting procedures, reporting standards, and controls.
- Prepare schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents for internal and external audits.
- Support statutory reporting and tax-related submissions where applicable.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or financial reporting.
- Hands-on SAP experience is mandatory.
- Good understanding of financial reporting, general accounting, and account reconciliations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to solve problems, coordinate across teams, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
- ACCA, CMA, or another relevant professional qualification is an advantage.
