Role overview

The Finance Data Product Analyst provides dedicated FP&A analytics support and owns the requirements-to-handoff lifecycle across core FP&A domains.

The role supports GLTD, Revenue, CapEx, and headcount portfolios, strengthening domain ownership and reducing downstream rework.

Requirements and delivery

  • Gather, clarify, document, and prioritize business requirements from Finance stakeholders.
  • Translate requirements into technical specifications and data model requirements for analyst and engineering teams.
  • Own requirements-to-engineering handoffs and validate specifications before development.
  • Coordinate onsite and offshore teams, backlogs, delivery status, gaps, and handoffs.

Data validation and documentation

  • Validate and reconcile data and support UAT to confirm delivered models and reports match business intent and source data.
  • Investigate data in existing EDW models, identify discrepancies, and document root causes for engineering resolution.
  • Maintain requirements documents, data dictionaries, test cases, and process guides.

AI-augmented analytics

  • Identify business needs that could benefit from AI/ML capabilities and translate them into actionable requirements.

Required qualifications

  • At least 4 years in BI analysis, data product analysis, or finance analytics support.
  • Strong FP&A understanding, including general ledger, revenue recognition, CapEx planning, headcount reporting, and cost center hierarchies.
  • SQL proficiency for investigating, tracing, and validating EDW data; pipeline development is not expected.
  • Experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and business-to-technical translation.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms and experience with Tableau or similar BI tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, structured tracking, and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, computer science, mathematics, information systems, or business.

Preferred qualifications

  • SAP Finance or ERP data familiarity.
  • Exposure to AI/ML concepts and offshore delivery models with structured SDLC or agile processes.
  • Knowledge of data governance and data quality practices.

Workplace

  • The description states the role is not remote and refers to onsite teams.

Compensation

  • Annual salary range is USD 113,600–192,300.
