Role Location and Work Mode
- The role is listed in Hyderabad, India.
- The role is not remote and involves field management with travel of up to 50 percent depending on account distribution.
Primary Function
Manage and develop the clinical field sales team within the assigned region.
Direct clinical utilization of the da Vinci Surgical System across the installed customer base.
Manage installations, training, utilization growth, and the hiring, training, and development of clinical sales representatives.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement clinical sales activities to meet or exceed senior-management goals.
- Expand clinical usage in existing accounts and through surgeon training across applicable specialties.
- Manage training and education within the installed base.
- Lead new system installation processes.
- Prospect for new installations and system upgrades.
- Provide product information and updates to the clinical sales team.
- Partner with training and marketing teams on strategies and programs.
Required Qualifications
- At least 10 years of sales experience, including at least 5 years in medical device sales.
- Proven experience managing and developing a medical device sales force.
- Strong clinical sales background and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50 percent depending on account distribution.
- Experience implementing a sales process platform and delivering presentations.
- Knowledge of the operating room environment.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience introducing new technologies to the market is a plus.
- Fluency in English and the local language is preferred.
