About the Role
As an Assistant Manager Finance (CAPEX) , you will support the General Ledger function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, month-end activities, and compliance with IFRS standards. You will work closely with Finance Business Partners and stakeholders across the organization to provide insightful financial analysis and support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Support month-end closing activities and financial reporting processes.
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with ticket sales reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and related-party transactions.
- Maintain prepaid expense schedules, lease accounting records, and financial trackers.
- Prepare accounting entries and day-to-day reconciliations.
- Conduct detailed analysis of general ledger accounts and financial transactions.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
- Perform variance analysis on P&L and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in preparing management reports, forecasts, and ad hoc financial analyses.
- Maintain CAPEX tracking and monitor open purchase orders and requisitions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and enhanced financial controls.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Essential
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of finance or accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.
Excellent analytical and reconciliation skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred
Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CMA, CA, or equivalent).
Experience working within the GCC region.
Experience using Oracle ERP/Fusion applications.
