Lead the Finance & Business Support function and ensure effective finance operations in line with IHG standards.
Financial planning and reporting
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support business objectives.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and performance analyses.
- Monitor KPIs, financial performance, and departmental P&Ls; recommend improvements to profitability and operational efficiency.
Controls and financial operations
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, local regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Maintain internal controls, safeguard hotel assets, and oversee financial risk management.
- Coordinate audits and ensure timely resolution of findings.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, payroll, and capital expenditure activities.
Business partnership and team leadership
- Partner with the General Manager and department heads on strategic planning and commercial decisions.
- Drive cost control while maintaining service quality and operational excellence.
- Lead, coach, and develop the finance team; promote collaboration and continuous process improvement.
- Perform additional duties assigned by the General Manager in support of hotel objectives.
