Finance Analyst

Work model

• Hybrid model: onsite at the designated Regal Rexnord location at least three days per week, with flexibility to work remotely up to two days, including Friday.
• The position is based in Radford, Virginia.

Position overview

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the annual budget and monthly financial and operating review packages for business leadership.
• Provide strategic business support and develop forecasts and plans that support decision-making and accountability.
• Analyze financial results, P&L opportunities, forecast variances, and risks; support corrective actions.
• Engage with organizational counterparts and track key business performance indicators.
• Develop reporting and analysis to evaluate assumptions, trends, and changes.
• Improve financial planning processes and tools, accounting accuracy, and timeliness.
• Support financial reporting and monitor compliance with financial policies.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least three years of experience in finance or accounting.
• Strong to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong planning, organization, time management, and project management skills.
• Strong presentation, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple workstreams and work effectively in a changing, demanding environment.
• Ability to interact effectively with senior management and plant operations managers.
• Strong analytical and process-improvement skills, attention to detail, integrity, and ethics.

Preferred qualifications

• Proficiency with Hyperion Financial Reporting System and/or Oracle is a plus.
• Financial Planning and Analysis experience is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Access, is preferred.
• The level of responsibility may vary based on the candidate’s background, skills, and demonstrated capabilities.

Compensation

• Expected base salary range is $65,000 to $85,000 or more; the source also provides a yearly salary range of $65,000–$85,000.
