Role overview

Financial planning and analysis

• Develop and maintain financial planning, budgeting, and expenditure monitoring processes.
• Prepare, monitor, and analyze annual IT OPEX and CAPEX budgets with Finance and relevant departments.
• Assess IT projects, contracts, and initiatives for cost-effectiveness, financial feasibility, and budget implications.
• Compare actual spending with approved budgets, identify variances, and advise management.
• Prepare forecasts, budget projections, and expenditure reports for financial planning and decisions.

Procurement and financial controls

• Evaluate vendor proposals, quotations, and contracts with Central Procurement and Finance.
• Review contract values, payment schedules, renewals, and commitments for budget and regulatory alignment.
• Track purchase orders, invoices, outstanding payments, and financial commitments.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend ways to optimize IT expenditure.
• Coordinate with Infrastructure, Applications, Information Security, and other IT teams on financial requirements and spending.
• Maintain records and supporting documents for IT budgets, contracts, procurement expenditure, audits, and governance.

• Support financial planning, budgeting, and expenditure monitoring in line with organizational policies and objectives.
• Prepare and analyze annual IT budgets, including operational expenditure (OPEX) and capital expenditure (CAPEX).
• Assess the cost-effectiveness, financial feasibility, and budget implications of IT projects, contracts, and initiatives.
• Evaluate vendor proposals, quotations, contracts, payment schedules, and financial commitments.
• Track purchase orders, invoices, outstanding payments, and financial commitments.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation for audit and governance requirements.
