Field Coordinator-Specialist

Role overview

Field service duties

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on rotating machines at customer sites.
• Follow work instructions from the site technical authority, such as a field service engineer or supervisor.
• Disassemble mechanical and/or instrumentation components and clean dismantled parts.
• Perform instrumentation tests and calibration, inspections, and dimensional checks.
• Carry out repairs such as drilling and tapping, and replace spare parts.
• Reassemble machine components and take precise measurements.
• Perform non-destructive testing and welding activities.
• Coordinate tasks among team members at the customer site and follow company procedures.
• Execute outages to meet safety, quality, and lead-time requirements.

Qualifications and desired characteristics

• A degree from an accredited university or college in mechanical or instrumentation studies, or a high school diploma with at least five years of support or maintenance engineering experience.
• Additional experience in logistics, maintenance, or systems engineering is preferred.
• Rigging and crane operations experience is a plus.
• Good oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of related product support activities and ability to work in a team, respond urgently to customer needs, and distribute site tasks.
