F&B Waiter and Waitress

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests, present menus, take accurate orders, and enter orders into the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, check guest satisfaction, and communicate special requests and dietary requirements.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to support timely service.
• Prepare, clean, set, and organize tables; clear and reset them after guests leave.
• Recommend menu items, specials, and promotions and encourage upselling.
• Maintain service-area and equipment cleanliness and follow food safety, HACCP, hygiene, health, and safety standards.
• Present bills, process payments when required, and handle cash and card transactions responsibly.
• Work with colleagues and assist team members during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Previous waiter or waitress experience in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Positive attitude, professional appearance, and strong customer-service orientation.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
