Position summary

Guest and dining-room service

• Greet guests, determine party size, and guide them through the dining rooms.
• Seat guests at clean, available tables and provide clean, current menus.
• Arrange tables, chairs, and settings, including seating for groups with special needs.
• Ensure guests have napkins, clean silverware, and other standard place-setting items.
• Check menus for cleanliness, accuracy, availability, and condition.
• Monitor seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being.
• Keep work areas clean throughout the day using clean-as-you-go practices.

Physical and workplace expectations

• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, or place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.

Preferred qualifications

• A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
• No related work experience or supervisory experience is required.
• No license or certification is required.

Standards and teamwork

• Follow company, safety, and security policies; report accidents, injuries, or unsafe work conditions and complete safety training.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and meet quality standards.
• Communicate professionally, build positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.

Schedule and location

• Full-time position at the JW Marriott location in Doha, Qatar.
• The role is not remote.
