Cost Controller Supervisor

Position summary

Financial duties

• Maintains files, records, cash, and cash equivalents according to company procedures.
• Classifies and summarizes numerical and financial data using journals, ledgers, or computers.
• Prepares, maintains, audits, and distributes financial, accounting, auditing, statistical, or payroll reports.
• Completes period-end closing procedures and reports.
• Prepares, reviews, reconciles, and issues bills, invoices, and account statements.
• Follows up on overdue accounts and vendor invoices until paid or resolved.

Team and workplace duties

• Coordinates with other departments and supports colleagues as a role model or mentor.
• Reports work-related accidents or injuries promptly and follows company policies.
• Protects confidential information and company assets; communicates professionally and maintains positive working relationships.
• Prepares accurate written documents, answers telephones appropriately, and performs other reasonable duties as requested.

Preferred qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
• At least 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
• No supervisory experience is required; no license or certification is specified.

Work arrangement

• Full-time position at the JW Marriott location in Doha, Qatar.
