Position summary

Guest service and dining operations

• Set tables and prepare dining areas for guests.
• Communicate with the kitchen and interact with and serve guests.
• Help make transactions part of the dining experience.
• Clean work areas and supplies.
• Follow company policies and procedures, maintain a safe workplace, and uphold quality standards.
• Maintain professional uniform, appearance, and communication.
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested.

Preferred qualifications

• A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
• Less than one year of related work experience is listed.
• No supervisory experience or license or certification is required.

Physical and work requirements

• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
• Read menus and visually verify information.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 25 pounds without assistance and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Schedule and location

• Full-time position at the JW Marriott location in Doha, Qatar.
• The role is not remote.
