F&B Captain position with the Food & Beverage team of a 4-star hotel in Dubai, UAE.
The role supports daily service, team coordination, and a welcoming, high-quality dining experience.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome guests, oversee an assigned section, and ensure tables are set and maintained to hotel standards.
- Guide and support waiters and other team members; take and check food and beverage orders when required.
- Use menu, ingredient, and beverage knowledge to assist guests and make recommendations.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and other departments; respond to requests and resolve concerns, escalating issues when needed.
- Keep service areas clean, organized, and stocked; follow hotel hygiene, health, safety, and guest service standards.
- Support the wider Food & Beverage team as required.
Qualifications
- At least two years of relevant Food & Beverage experience is required.
- Captain, team leader, or senior Waiter/Waitress experience is preferred; hotel or quality restaurant experience is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, good food and beverage service knowledge, and a professional, positive approach.
- Strong teamwork and organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good command of English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
- Must be flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Package
- Salary is AED 1,800 per month.
- Meal allowance is AED 200 per month; service charge and accommodation are provided.
