A 4-star hotel in Dubai is seeking an F&B Captain to help lead daily service and deliver a welcoming, high-quality dining experience.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide attentive service; oversee an assigned section and maintain tables to hotel standards.
- Guide waiters and team members; take and check orders accurately when required.
- Use menu, ingredient, and beverage knowledge to assist guests and make recommendations.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and other departments; resolve guest concerns and escalate issues when appropriate.
- Keep service areas clean, organized, and stocked; follow hygiene, health, safety, and guest service standards.
- Support the wider Food & Beverage team as required.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant Food & Beverage experience.
- Captain, team leader, or senior waiter/waitress experience is preferred; hotel or quality restaurant experience is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills; good knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
- Professional, well-groomed, positive approach, with teamwork and organizational skills for a fast-paced environment.
- Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Package
- Salary is AED 1,800 per month.
- Meal allowance is AED 200 per month; service charge and accommodation are provided.
