Guest service and sales duties
- Resolve guest calls, requests, and problems by contacting appropriate individuals or departments.
- Use sales techniques, including upselling, to maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty.
- Award complimentary items or rewards as appropriate and promote brand awareness.
- Process Marriott Rewards redemptions and enter rewards information when taking guest reservations.
- Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
- Answer, record, and process guest calls, requests, questions, and concerns.
- Perform general Sales & Marketing office duties, including filing, sending emails, typing, and faxing.
- Assist with employee training and motivation, serve as a role model, and monitor quality standards.
- Welcome guests, anticipate and address service needs, communicate professionally, and maintain positive working relationships.
- Maintain confidentiality, protect company assets, and follow company policies and personal appearance standards.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least two years of related work experience.
- No supervisory experience is specified.
- No license or certification is specified.
