Guest service and sales
- Route guest calls, requests, or issues to appropriate departments and handle guest inquiries and concerns.
- Use sales techniques to optimize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty; provide guest appreciation gifts and promote brand awareness.
- Process Marriott Rewards point redemptions and enter program information during reservations.
- Process room reservations, requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or email.
Office support and team conduct
- Provide Sales and Marketing office support, including filing, email, transcription, and faxing.
- Assist management with employee training and motivation and serve as a role model.
- Follow company policies, maintain professional appearance and guest-service standards, and protect confidential information and company property.
- Communicate professionally, prepare and review accurate documents, use proper telephone etiquette, and maintain positive working relationships.
Desirable qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is listed as desirable.
- At least 2 years of related work experience is listed as desirable.
- Supervisor experience is not required; no license or certification is listed.
