Responsibilities
- Contact appropriate departments to resolve guest calls, requests, or problems; handle, record, and process guest inquiries and concerns.
- Use sales techniques, including upselling, to optimize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty.
- Provide guest appreciation gifts and promote brand awareness.
- Process Marriott Rewards point-cancellation requests and enter program information when taking reservations.
- Process room reservations, requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or email.
- Complete Sales and Marketing office tasks, including filing, email, transcription, and faxing.
- Assist management with training and motivating employees; serve as a role model and monitor performance against quality standards.
- Follow company policies, maintain professional appearance, protect confidential information and company property, and deliver courteous service.
Desirable qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is listed as desirable.
- At least two years of related work experience is listed as desirable.
- Supervisory experience is not required; no licence or certification is specified.
