Guest service and reservations
- Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve guest calls, requests, and problems.
- Answer, record, and process guest calls, requests, questions, and concerns.
- Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
- Enter Marriott Rewards information into the appropriate software and process requests to redeem points.
- Determine and provide guest complimentaries, such as rewards points, show tickets, or gift certificates.
Sales and team support
- Use sales techniques, including upselling, to maximize revenue and maintain guest loyalty.
- Promote brand awareness and perform general Sales & Marketing office duties, including filing, email, typing, and faxing.
- Assist management with employee training and motivation, and serve as a role model.
- Welcome guests, anticipate and address service needs, and maintain professional communication and appearance.
- Follow company policies, protect confidential information and assets, support team goals, and meet quality standards.
- Read and visually verify information; handle objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance; perform other reasonable duties as requested.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- At least two years of related work experience preferred.
- No supervisory experience or license or certification is specified.
