Executive-Marketing is a full-time, non-management position in Sales & Marketing at the Makkah property.
The position is not remote.
Guest service and reservations
- Resolve guest calls, requests, and problems by contacting appropriate departments as needed.
- Use sales techniques, including upselling, to maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty; provide appropriate complimentary items or rewards points.
- Promote brand awareness, process Marriott Rewards redemptions, and enter rewards information when taking reservations.
- Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail; answer and record guest calls, questions, and concerns.
Office and team support
- Perform general Sales & Marketing office duties, including filing, emailing, typing, and faxing.
- Assist management with training and motivating employees, serve as a role model, and monitor performance against quality standards.
- Follow company policies, maintain professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and deliver welcoming guest service.
- Communicate professionally, prepare and review written documents accurately, build positive working relationships, and support team goals.
- Read and verify information in varied formats; move, carry, push, pull, or place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
Preferred qualifications
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- At least 2 years of related work experience is preferred.
- No supervisory experience is specified.
