The Executive Housekeeper leads daily shift operations for Housekeeping, Recreation/Health Club, and Laundry where applicable.

Housekeeping operations
- Direct and work with staff to keep guest rooms, public spaces, and employee areas clean and well maintained.
- Inspect rooms and public spaces, address deficiencies, and follow up on corrective actions.
- Communicate room status to the Front Desk and work with Engineering on guestroom maintenance needs.
- Supervise cleaning schedules and prepare assignments using rooms to clean and expected check-outs.
- Maintain adequate stock, assist with ordering supplies and uniforms, and ensure staff have proper equipment.
Costs, service, and people management
- Manage controllable expenses and help achieve departmental financial goals; use budgets, operating statements, and payroll progress reports as needed.
- Handle guest problems and complaints, improve service performance, and reinforce guest satisfaction and continuous improvement.
- Manage staffing levels, clarify expectations, administer policies and discipline consistently, and complete required documentation.
- Support employee training, orientation, feedback, appraisals, interviews, and hiring; participate in accident investigations and progressive discipline as needed.
Education and experience
- High school diploma or GED and two years of housekeeping or related professional experience; alternatively, a two-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related major with no experience required.
