About the Role
The Events & Exhibitions Manager will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and growth of the company's events and exhibitions business.
The role combines event management, business development, client acquisition, and operational leadership to ensure successful event delivery while driving revenue growth and profitability.
The successful candidate will be expected to create value for the company by securing new clients, developing strategic partnerships, identifying business opportunities, and expanding the company's presence in the events, exhibitions, conferences, corporate events, and activation sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the division's business strategy, growth plans, and annual objectives.
- Identify and secure new clients, exhibition projects, events, conferences, and corporate contracts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, government entities, event organizers, exhibitors, sponsors, and strategic partners.
- Lead the planning, budgeting, execution, and delivery of events and exhibitions from concept to completion.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals, presentations, quotations, and tender submissions.
- Manage event operations, logistics, suppliers, contractors, and project teams.
- Drive revenue growth, profitability, and business expansion through new opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, quality standards, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop innovative event concepts and solutions that add value to clients and differentiate the company in the market.
- Lead and develop high-performing project and operational teams.
- Report business performance, opportunities, and strategic initiatives to senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in Events, Exhibitions, Conferences, Activations, or related industries.
- Minimum 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Proven track record in business development, client acquisition, revenue generation, and project delivery.
- Strong experience managing exhibitions, trade shows, corporate events, conferences, and large-scale activations.
- Experience in tendering, proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and project management.
- Strong network with corporate clients, government entities, event organizers, exhibition venues, and industry stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to secure new business opportunities and create value for the company.
- Strong commercial, leadership, negotiation, budgeting, and stakeholder management skills.
- GCC market experience is highly preferred.
- Valid Qatar Driving License is preferred.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
