Event coordination
- Meet group coordinators or hosts before functions, make introductions, and confirm arrangements.
- Review banquet event orders to determine guest information, room setup, timelines, special needs, buffets, and action stations.
- Respond to special banquet event requests and follow up to confirm arrangements are fulfilled.
Service, safety, and standards
- Follow company and safety and security policies; report accidents, injuries, or unsafe work conditions and complete safety training.
- Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, communicate professionally, and build positive working relationships.
- Maintain quality standards, professional appearance, confidentiality, and protection of company assets.
- Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines for defects and perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- At least 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
- No supervisory experience or license/certification is specified.
Physical work conditions
- The role may require extended standing, sitting, or walking; moving through narrow, elevated, or confined spaces; and navigating uneven or slippery surfaces and stairs.
