Respond to guest repair requests and support facility safety and service standards.
Maintenance and safety duties
- Calibrate controls, gauges, and meters; locate and operate shut-off valves.
- Order, mark, and stock supplies; maintain inventory and purchase-order logs.
- Inspect equipment and machines, enter work information on computers, and operate power lifts.
- Complete the life-safety checklist, including fire-pump and generator run tests; inspect sprinkler valves and alarm systems.
- Assist in developing disaster-response protocols and respond to guest repair requests.
Team and service duties
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees.
- Follow company safety and security policies, report problems and incidents, and complete safety training and certifications.
- Welcome guests, address service needs, support colleagues, and maintain professional communication and confidentiality.
- Help improve quality, efficiency, productivity, safety, and cost savings.
Preferred qualifications and experience
- At least 2 years of related work experience and at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
- A technical, trade, or vocational school degree is preferred; no license or certification is specified.
Schedule and location
- Full-time position at the hotel in Dubai; the posting states that the role is not remote.
- Duties include physical activity such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing or walking for extended periods, and using stairs or service ramps.
