Maintenance and safety duties
- Install, maintain, and perform preventive maintenance on tools, appliances, and equipment; recommend replacements.
- Calibrate controls, gauges, and meters; identify and operate shut-off valves; inspect equipment and machines.
- Order and stock parts and supplies, and maintain inventory and purchase-order logs.
- Complete life-safety checklists, fire-pump and generator tests, and inspections of sprinkler valves and alarm systems.
- Assist with disaster-response protocols and respond to guest repair requests.
Team and service duties
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, and coaching employees.
- Follow company and safety policies, report hazards and maintenance problems, and complete safety training.
- Support guest service, maintain professional conduct and confidentiality, and build positive working relationships.
- Help maintain quality standards and improve efficiency, productivity, safety, and cost savings.
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
Preferred qualifications and physical demands
- A technical, trade, or vocational school degree is preferred.
- At least 2 years of related work experience and 2 years of supervisory experience are preferred.
- No license or certification is specified.
- The role involves lifting up to 50 pounds, extended standing, sitting, or walking, and moving on stairs or service ramps.
