Experienced Engineering Manager focused on Well Completion Systems in the Oil & Gas industry.
The position is described as based in the UAE and India.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline; a Master’s degree is an added advantage.
- 12–15 years of relevant Oil & Gas engineering experience, including strong Well Completion Systems experience.
- Proven product design, development, validation, testing, and manufacturing support experience.
- Experience managing a team of 10 or more employees.
- Knowledge of CAD/design tools, engineering drawings, technical documentation, RCA, NCR, and ECM processes.
- Strong problem-solving, technical leadership, and customer-facing skills.
- Immediate availability or a short notice period is preferred.
Key responsibilities
- Lead design and development from material selection through product validation, ensuring customer and product requirements are met.
- Review and approve engineering drawings, process plans, quality plans, material specifications, and technical documentation.
- Lead and support API audits covering API 14L, 11D1, 19AC, 7-1, 7-2, 5CT, 5B, and 5DP.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for product and process failures.
- Prepare and review design packages, validation procedures, testing methods, and operational procedures.
- Provide technical support to Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, and customers.
- Lead product testing, validation, and process capability activities.
- Oversee CAD-based product design and interpretation of drawings and schematics.
- Manage NCRs and ECMs and ensure timely closure.
