Site supervision and delivery
- Accountable for installation safety, quality, productivity, corrective actions, and site non-conformity resolution.
- Prepare sites, verify readiness and customer deliverables, and conduct site visits and audits.
- Review site execution plans and field costs; oversee installation activities and handovers.
- Plan work, resources, tools, site storage, logistics, and installation-team handovers.
- Manage material requests and receipt, delivery milestones, and S-plan confirmations.
- Oversee team huddles, installation testing, closure of outstanding items, and handover to maintenance.
- Manage variation sales, change orders, cost claims, timesheets, documentation, progress, risks, and schedule changes.
- Manage environmental aspects, including waste and hazardous-material handling.
Customer and team coordination
- Serve as the primary customer contact for site management and maintain satisfaction through proactive communication.
- Verify that installers, testers, and contractors are trained, certified, competent, and capable of their tasks.
- Support team safety, motivation, wellbeing, performance, and development; identify training needs.
- Build professional subcontractor relationships and ensure subcontractors meet commitments.
Continuous improvement
- Follow and improve standard ways of working according to LEAN principles.
- Coach installation teams to identify waste, improve work methods, and share improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- Ensure installers, testers, and contractors are trained, certified, competent, and capable of their assigned installation tasks.
- Use correct KONE installation methods and tools, and conduct risk assessments when standard methods are not feasible.
- Follow and continually improve standard ways of working according to LEAN principles.
