General Responsibilities
- **Policy, Procedures, Process and Systems**
- Ensure the compliance of organization’s policy, systems, processes, procedures, and controls in line with group delegation of authority policy so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service in a consistent manner.
- **Reporting**
- Ensure that all reports are completed timely and comply with the business policies and standards.
- Manage the preparation of periodical management reports and progress reports to keep the business senior management informed about the progress of various initiatives and to facilitate decision-making.
- Comply with organization’s requirements in a timely manner.
Job Specific Responsibilities
- Provide instructions for conducting switching operations in the recycled water distribution network.
- Ensure that safety standards are upheld within the system.
- Coordinate the commissioning activities for new equipment in the recycled water distribution network.
- Assist in isolating faults and restoring supply.
- Update and maintain the database for the recycled water distribution network.
- Comply with reasonable occupational health and safety (OSH) instructions and safe working procedures.
- Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment and safety systems.
- Familiarize oneself with emergency and evacuation procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of risk assessments.
- Report OSH hazards, incidents, and issues.
- ***What are the most essential duties/responsibilities?***
- Execute and coordinate switching operations within the recycled water distribution network in accordance with approved operational procedures and under the direction of the Senior Engineer – Recycled Water Control.
- Monitoring and operating Potable and RW water infrastructure and reacting to real-time information provided via the SCADA systems.
- Respond to alarms and malfunctions of plant/ SCADA operations and take the necessary corrective measures including in coordination with Operation, Maintenance and OT team.
- Responsible to visit and inspect sites, investigating reasons for defect or faults and supporting technicians in resolving issues.
- Monitor, control, and optimize the operation of the Potable and recycled water distribution network to ensure safe, reliable, and continuous service delivery.
- Coordinate the commissioning, testing, and integration of new recycled water network assets, ensuring compliance with operational and technical requirements.
- Support fault investigation, network isolation, and service restoration activities to minimize customer impact and restore normal operations in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date operational records, network databases, switching schedules, and system documentation to support effective asset and network management.
- Prepare operational reports, incident reports, and performance updates, and provide timely technical feedback and recommendations to the Senior Engineer – Recycled Water Control.
- Ensure compliance with all occupational health, safety, environmental, and quality management requirements during operational activities.

Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Upto 3 years of relevant working experience
Desired Requirements
- Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
