Engineer I for Halcon supports electronic hardware and embedded firmware design, development, testing, and troubleshooting.
The role contributes to system performance analysis, technical documentation, and continuous improvement of electronic systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test digital and analog electronic circuits, modules, and systems.
- Support embedded firmware development, PCB design, integration, and system testing.
- Perform hands-on troubleshooting, testing, and performance analysis using electronic measurement instruments.
- Prepare technical reports and engineering documentation; collaborate with engineers and technicians on new designs and system improvements.
Basic qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Electrical, Electronic, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in electronic module design involving both hardware and firmware.
- Practical knowledge of analog and digital electronics, PCB design, system testing, and electronic measurement equipment.
- Hands-on programming experience with Embedded C and Python; good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience across electronics development from circuit and PCB design through firmware development, integration, testing, and troubleshooting is preferred.
- Exposure to electronic system architecture, performance analysis, and development of test or support hardware is preferred.
Workplace and language
- The role is based in Abu Dhabi; workplace type is identified as onsite in the source metadata.
