Role overview

The AI Engagement Lead drives organisation-wide AI adoption, engagement, and enablement across a large, complex organisation.

The role builds an active AI community and helps employees use AI tools effectively and responsibly.

Key responsibilities

  • Build and manage an AI champions and advocates network across business functions.
  • Drive adoption through structured engagement, enablement, and change initiatives.
  • Plan and deliver AI onboarding, workshops, training programmes, and community events.
  • Develop communications plans for AI awareness, participation, and knowledge sharing.
  • Identify, document, and track AI initiatives and use cases with business teams.
  • Monitor adoption, engagement, business benefits, and value realisation.
  • Create dashboards, reports, and executive updates on progress and impact.
  • Engage senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to maintain alignment and action.
  • Coordinate with AI, technology, governance, and business teams on responsible AI implementation.
  • Create practical playbooks, templates, toolkits, and guidelines.
  • Manage calendars, milestones, action plans, and stakeholder follow-ups.
  • Promote responsible AI practices and effective use of AI tools.

Required qualifications and experience

  • 10+ years in digital adoption, change management, learning and development, technology enablement, or programme management.
  • Experience leading adoption, engagement, or community programmes in large, multi-functional organisations.
  • Working knowledge of Generative AI tools, enterprise AI use cases, and responsible AI principles.
  • Experience coordinating training, communications, workshops, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong stakeholder management, including engagement with senior leadership.
  • Experience building dashboards, reports, and metrics to measure adoption, engagement, and programme outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including explaining AI concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organisational and programme execution skills, ownership, follow-up, and delivery.

Preferred qualifications

  • Change management certification such as Prosci is preferred.
  • Experience with UAE government or semi-government organisations is preferred.
  • Arabic proficiency is preferred.
  • Enterprise-wide digital transformation or AI enablement experience is preferred.

Compensation

  • Salary is up to AED 30,000 per month.

Clear visibility of AI use cases, adoption metrics, and realised business benefits.

Effective coordination among business, technology, and governance stakeholders.
