Role overview
Supervise ELV and security system installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Supervise ELV technicians, subcontractors, and daily site activities.
- Coordinate installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance work.
- Read and implement ELV drawings, layouts, and specifications.
- Oversee CCTV, access control, intercom, structured cabling, PA, ANPR, gate barrier, and other ELV systems.
- Coordinate SIRA inspections, approvals, documentation, and rectification work.
- Monitor manpower, materials, tools, and project progress; troubleshoot issues and ensure quality workmanship.
- Prepare reports, checklists, inspection requests, and handover documents.
- Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and site teams; ensure project, safety, and SIRA compliance.
Requirements
- Valid SIRA certification is mandatory.
- At least 2 years of relevant ELV experience in the UAE.
- Previous experience supervising ELV or security technicians.
- Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control, and other ELV systems.
- Ability to read technical drawings and troubleshoot systems.
- Good communication, leadership, and coordination skills.
- A technical diploma or certificate in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field is preferred.
- A UAE driving license and immediate availability are advantages/preferences.
