Electrical Supervisor role for an oil and gas project in Mesaieed, Qatar.
The contract duration is four months and may be extended.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily electrical installation and site activities.
- Oversee HV/LV switchgear panel installation and related electrical works.
- Supervise engineers, technicians, contractors, and other site teams.
- Monitor progress, quality, and adherence to project schedules.
- Ensure compliance with HSE procedures, Permit to Work requirements, approved drawings, project specifications, and safety standards.
- Supervise transformer installation, testing, and associated activities.
Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum seven years of oil and gas experience; the posting also labels seven years as preferred in a separate experience field.
- Hands-on supervisory experience in HV/LV switchgear panel and transformer installation.
- QatarEnergy approval and valid E-PTW certification are required.
- Strong knowledge of electrical installation practices and site safety requirements.
