Role overview
Lead delivery of electrical high- and medium-voltage substation projects in Saudi Arabia from design and procurement through construction, testing, commissioning, and handover.
Coordinate clients, contractors, utilities, and multidisciplinary teams.
Key responsibilities
- Lead HV and MV substation project delivery and manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk.
- Coordinate design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover.
- Manage client, utility, contractor, and stakeholder relationships.
- Ensure project requirements, relevant standards, and regulatory approvals are met.
- Monitor project progress and report regularly to clients and management.
- Lead project meetings, resolve technical and commercial issues, and support multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 10–15 years of experience in electrical power or substation projects and proven experience managing HV and MV substation projects.
- Strong knowledge of substations, protection and control systems, SCADA, and associated infrastructure.
- Experience with utilities, contractors, and major infrastructure clients; strong project management, leadership, stakeholder management, and client-facing communication skills.
- Knowledge of Saudi regulations, utility requirements, and approval processes is preferred.
