Supports the Engineering/Projects Department on new MEP projects.
Leads electrical works on commercial, residential, villa, and large-building projects from planning through installation, testing, and commissioning.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage electrical works on commercial, residential, villa, and high-rise building projects.
- Handle electrical planning, installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Prepare and review LV system plans to DEWA standards.
- Manage power distribution, lighting, power socket, and cable installation works.
- Review electrical drawings, shop drawings, and technical submissions.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project teams.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, DEWA regulations, and safety standards.
- Monitor site progress and resolve electrical technical issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 10 to 12 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in MEP/construction projects.
- Experience with commercial and residential buildings, shopping malls, villas, and high-rise projects from G+4 to G+12.
- Good knowledge of LV systems and DEWA requirements.
- Strong knowledge of cable selection, sizing, routing, and installation.
- Experience with power sockets, lighting systems, and electrical distribution.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and specifications.
- Basic plumbing and drainage knowledge and coordination with other MEP services.
- Experience with Emaar projects is an advantage.
- UAE MEP construction experience and immediate availability are preferred.
