The Electrical Site Inspector supervises and monitors electrical works on site.
The role ensures executed work follows approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Responsibilities
- Supervise site electrical works against approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor electrical installations, wiring, panels, lighting, low-current systems, and other in-scope electrical work.
- Inspect completed works for compliance with technical and quality requirements.
- Support inspection, testing, and handover at different project stages.
- Coordinate with contractors and site teams to resolve technical comments and site issues.
- Ensure site activities meet safety and quality requirements.
- Prepare daily or periodic progress and site observation reports.
- Report deviations from drawings or specifications to the relevant team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- At least five years of relevant experience, including practical experience in Saudi Arabia and the private sector.
- Experience supervising electrical installations and inspecting and accepting completed work against approved drawings.
- Full-time commitment on site; availability to work full-time on site is required.
- Saudi nationals are preferred.
Role-related capabilities
- Basic knowledge of construction-site quality and safety requirements.
- Ability to prepare clear site reports.
- Good communication and coordination with contractors and project teams.
