Electrical Engineer

Qualifications:

• Electrical Engineering Degree and registration as a P.Eng. with APEGA. P.L.(Eng) within this scope of work may also be considered.
• 2-6 years of work experience in electrical design, drafting and/or manufacturing environments.
• Working knowledge of NEC/CEC, UL/CSA as they pertain to low/medium voltage electrical design.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software.
• Valid driver’s license. Occasional travel to various production facilities for inspections, factory witness testing, and other activities. (Mostly in Edmonton)
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with passive/active harmonic filters.
• 1-4 years of HVAC design experience with focus on data center design.
• Experience with AutoCAD Electric, Bluebeam Revu, EPLAN, SKM, ETAP, Visual Lighting Software, and PLM software.
• Previous experience as an electrician or field technician with hands on electrical testing and troubleshooting experience.
• 1-4 years of project management of coordination experience.
• HIRING SALARY RANGE: $92,000-$126,000 CAD (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
