Job Purpose
Support the planning, design, coordination, and delivery of Electrical and ELV systems for data center projects.
Develop and review electrical engineering designs, calculations, specifications, drawings, and technical documentation.
Ensure systems are reliable, energy efficient, coordinated, and suitable for data center applications throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Support detailed Electrical and ELV system design in compliance with company guidelines, international standards, local codes, and regulations.
- Coordinate designs, technical submissions, bids, scope, budgets, and schedules with engineering and project teams.
- Manage engineers, mentor junior staff, and support delivery against project deadlines.
- Prepare concept designs, technical analyses, detailed engineering, and sizing calculations.
- Use or work with ETAP/AMTECH, Dialux, and related engineering tools.
- Develop and review project specifications and assess design risks and reliability issues.
- Provide data center Electrical and ELV subject matter expertise and optimize designs for energy efficiency.
- Conduct site surveys, gap analyses, and assessments, and prepare technical reports.
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders under design management supervision.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
- A Master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 8 years of Electrical and ELV systems design and engineering experience is required.
- Experience in data center projects or similar mission-critical facilities is required.
- Knowledge of electrical design, small power, CCTV, fire alarm, access control, EPMS, and building automation is required.
- Experience with MS Office and AutoCAD or Revit is required.
- Strong critical-thinking and analytical skills are required.
- Ability to travel for site inspections and participate in testing and commissioning is required.
