Supports substation design and delivery for mission-critical data centre facilities.
Work concerns substations at voltage levels from 66 kV through 800 kV.
Responsibilities
- Assist with design and review of shop drawings, SLDs, technical submittals, planning, execution, and delivery of substation works.
- Coordinate with engineering teams, power systems consultants, utility providers, and data centre design, operations, and MEP teams.
- Ensure work complies with project specifications, utility standards, and quality benchmarks.
- Review technical submittals, IFC and as-built drawings, ITPs, inspection logs, and test results.
- Coordinate approvals, energization, and compliance inspections with authorities.
- Resolve technical issues with consultants and contractors; support commissioning, testing, and handover.
Standards and project context
Substation integration must align with data centre electrical designs and redundancy requirements.
References utility authorities and standards in the Middle East, the US, and Europe.
