Operate and maintain an assigned company vehicle according to established rules and regulations.
Keep the vehicle clean and well maintained, monitor its temperature, and deliver goods to the destination on time.
Driving and deliveries
- Drive safely and courteously, practice defensive driving, and follow UAE traffic and transportation rules.
- Read maps and directions to plan efficient routes.
- Present delivery bills or receipts, collect payments, and turn in receipts and money received.
- Drive light vehicles for other trips as required and assist other drivers during busy operations.
- Load and unload equipment or food cabinets when driving the food truck.
Vehicle care and records
- Keep vehicles clean inside and outside and regularly check their condition.
- Maintain trip sheets and records of transportation, maintenance, fuel purchases, incidents, accidents, and vehicle condition.
- Perform minor maintenance, refuel vehicles, and coordinate major or periodic maintenance with management and staff.
Safety and other duties
- Respond to accidents or medical emergencies by notifying emergency responders and providing first aid until they arrive.
- Provide safety briefings to staff when requested.
- Maintain good personal hygiene and grooming, participate in quality initiatives, and perform other reasonable assigned duties.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 2,000–2,500 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person at the catering unit in DIC, Dubai.
