Transports clinic staff safely and professionally and supports deliveries between clinics and the corporate office.
Also supports laboratory operations by transporting blood sample boxes and delivering clinic supplies.
Transportation and delivery duties
- Transport staff to and from the clinic on time using the assigned route and pickup list.
- Obtain manager approval before adding pickups for new staff; do not change the company van route for individual staff.
- Follow location changes communicated by the facilities manager and notify appropriate individuals of route delays.
- Deliver documents, passports, uniforms, parcels, and claim forms to the correct recipients and ensure delivery is signed for.
- Assist with other routes during breakdowns or unusual circumstances when assigned.
Vehicle and laboratory duties
- Inspect the assigned vehicle daily and keep it clean, tidy, and in safe operating condition.
- Perform regular checks of oil, water, battery, brakes, and tires and arrange day-to-day maintenance.
- Collect blood sample boxes and register books from medical centers and deliver them to the laboratory as scheduled, driving carefully to keep samples in good condition.
- Collect laboratory requirements from the clinic general store weekly and deliver them to the clinic.
Requirements
- Maintain current required licenses and certificates, including a driver’s license.
- Follow assigned pickup timings and routes and use safe driving practices.
