Patient and item transport
- Respond promptly to patients’ requests for assistance while ensuring comfort and safety.
- Transport patients and medical equipment between hospital locations.
- Transport specimens from the Out-Patient Department to the laboratory in a timely manner.
- Send and receive CSSD materials for applicable departments according to scheduled timings.
- Deliver documents and files between departments and the Medical Records Department, including admission files to inpatient areas as instructed.
- Collect general and stationery items from stores for departments on allocated days.
Requirements
- Able to speak English.
- Arabic is desirable but not mandatory.
- High school diploma.
Safety and workplace procedures
- Comply with occupational safety and health and infection control policies, standards, and procedures.
- Follow emergency, evacuation, and waste management procedures.
- Report hazards, incidents, and near misses, and assist with risk assessments and incident reports.
- Attend required safety and infection control training, mock drills, and awareness sessions.
