Serves patients at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately.
Billing and customer service duties
- Greet customers and receive cash or credit card payments.
- Enter services in the EMR according to institutional policies and protocols.
- Generate cash and insurance invoices; issue receipts, refunds, and balances.
- Identify service prices and tabulate bills in the EMR; report discrepancies to clinic management or the Finance Manager.
- Count cash drawers at the start of shifts and ensure correct amounts and adequate coins.
- Reconcile cash and credit sales against the EMR at the end of the day.
- Maintain promotion and campaign statistics in the authorized format.
- Answer customer queries and notify management about customer or billing-system issues.
Education
- College diploma in any discipline or a related field.
