The company has cultivated more than five million plants since 2020 and aims to grow 30 million by 2030 for The Red Sea and Amaala.

Job purpose

Lead Botanica's finance and accounting, HR and government relations, procurement, administration, and HSSE and compliance functions, coordinating IT and systems with group teams.

The role is accountable for accurate financial reporting, controlled costs, payroll, compliant hiring and retention, and reliable procurement.

Finance and accounting

  • Own financial records, month-end close, management accounts, and contract-level P&L.
  • Manage billing, receivables, payables, cash-flow forecasting, banking, VAT, and ZATCA e-invoicing compliance.
  • Report P&L by business unit and revenue stream; support budgeting, cost control, and financial modelling.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and close findings on time.

HR, procurement, and administration

  • Lead workforce planning, recruitment, reward, retention, engagement, payroll, GOSI, Qiwa, Muqeem, permits, residency renewals, and Saudization compliance.
  • Manage accommodation and welfare, training records, and HR policies with Group HR.
  • Set sourcing strategy and oversee procurement, supplier contracts, supplier performance, stores control, inventory valuation, and asset records.
  • Manage office services, document control, records retention, internal communications, policies, procedures, and the Delegation of Authority register.

Systems, leadership, and compliance

  • Coordinate ERP, HRIS, inventory, and fleet systems with group IT; ensure accurate records and data access controls.
  • Lead the Shared Services department, which is sized to support the nursery and landscape-maintenance workforce.
  • Enforce company and group policies and champion safety, quality, environmental, and compliance management systems.
  • Lead continuous improvement focused on cost reduction, productivity, and client value.

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • At least 15 years of experience, including at least seven years leading finance, HR, or shared-services functions in KSA.
  • Experience supporting a multi-business-unit organization with a large field workforce of several hundred employees.
  • SOCPA, CMA, CPA, or MBA is preferred.

Skills and competencies

  • Financial control, budgeting, management reporting, audit, financial modelling, and Saudi labour-law processes.
  • Knowledge of GOSI, Nitaqat, government relations, procurement governance, and supplier contract management.
  • Integrated management systems and compliance; fluent Arabic and English.
  • Functional competencies include financial accounting and reporting, cost control, HR operations, procurement, HSSE risk mitigation, and document control.

Work context

  • Shared Services supports multiple revenue streams and a large in-house field workforce; hiring, payroll, residency, permits, accommodation, and procurement must run accurately.
  • Leadership relies on accurate business-unit cost information for pricing and investment decisions.
