Job Scope
The Director, Product Yield and Distribution is responsible for leading Miral Destinations’ yield and distribution strategy to drive profitable growth across hotel package sales. The role oversees the Product Distribution function and brings together channel strategy, pricing, yield management, and partner profitability to improve margin, and market competitiveness.This role collaborates on the strategic direction for how products are positioned, packaged, priced, and distributed across international B2B and B2B2C channels. It leads the forecasting and commercial planning of hotel incentive opportunities as part of the wider profitability agenda, working in close collaboration with the contracting function to ensure alignment with partner strategy and negotiation priorities.
Partner Commercial Planning
- Own forecasting and commercial planning of hotel incentive opportunities as part of the wider profitability agenda
- Lead the commercial modelling of pre-buy opportunities in collaboration with the contracting account management team to support availability, margin improvement, and trading performance
- Work closely with the contracting function to ensure commercial insight informs partner strategy, negotiation priorities, and long-term value creation
Yield Strategy And Profitability
- Lead the strategic direction of yield management across hotel package products to improve revenue generation, margin, and commercial return
- Define pricing and performance frameworks for packages that support profitable growth across markets, channels, and partner types
- Identify and prioritise key profitability levers, including pricing strategy, partner-funded incentives, and pre-buy opportunities
Distribution Leadership
- Oversee the Product Distribution function and ensure distribution strategy supports wider business objectives, commercial priorities, and market opportunity
- Guide channel optimisation across international B2B and B2B2C distribution networks to improve reach, performance, and competitiveness
- Ensure product positioning, visibility, and route-to-market strategy are aligned to demand trends and business goals
Market Insight And Performance Management
- Translate market, competitor, pricing, and performance insights into commercial actions and recommendations
- Oversee reporting and performance management across yield, distribution, partner contribution, and product competitiveness
- Ensure decisions are supported by strong analysis and a focus on measurable business outcomes
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Act as a commercial link across Sales, Contracting, Revenue, Marketing, and E-commerce
- Foster a collaboration across functions where pricing, distribution, profitability, and contracting intersect
- Provide leadership with clear reporting, insight, and recommendations to support bsuiness planning
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Tourism or related field
- Professional qualification or further study in commercial strategy, or a related discipline
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Full driving license
- Significant (+10 years) experience in travel, tourism, hospitality, distribution, revenue, or commercial strategy roles
- Proven leadership experience in yield management, pricing strategy, distribution optimisation, and commercial performance
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and working across multiple stakeholder groups
- Experience using market insight, performance data, and forecasting to drive business decisions
- Experience managing commercial priorities across international B2B and B2B2C channels
- Experience identifying and developing profitability opportunity, including partner incentives and inventory planning
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to translate opportunity into action
- Strong understanding of international B2B and B2B2C distribution models
- Strong analytical capability, including pricing analysis, forecasting, benchmarking, and performance interpretation
- Ability to develop and implement yield, pricing, and distribution strategies that improve revenue quality and margin
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, particularly across contracting, sales, finance, marketing, and e-commerce
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders
- Strong leadership capability, with the ability to set direction, drive accountability, and lead change
- Advanced PowerPoint, Excel, and Word skills
