We are partnering with one of the region’s most ambitious and respected real estate development companies to appoint an experienced Director of Interior Design.
This is a rare opportunity to lead a portfolio of landmark developments that redefine luxury hospitality, residential, and branded residential experiences.
As Director of Interior Design, you will be responsible for driving world-class design concepts from inception through delivery, creating distinctive environments that elevate lifestyle, experience, and value.
Working closely with senior leadership, development, architecture, and global design partners, you will play a pivotal role in shaping some of the most prestigious projects in the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the interior design vision and strategy across a portfolio of luxury developments.
- Develop compelling design concepts that align with brand positioning, commercial objectives, and customer expectations.
- Oversee the entire design process, from concept creation and design direction through detailed design development and project execution.
- Collaborate with internationally renowned architects, interior designers, operators, and consultants to ensure design excellence.
- Review and challenge design proposals, ensuring the highest standards of creativity, functionality, and quality.
- Drive innovation and identify emerging global trends in luxury hospitality, residential, and branded residential design.
- Present design concepts and recommendations to executive stakeholders and project leadership teams.
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with design intent, budget parameters, and development timelines.
- Mentor and inspire internal design teams while fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.
Requirements
- Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related design discipline.
- 15+ years of experience within interior design
- Proven experience leading high-end interior design projects within luxury hospitality, residential, or branded residential sectors.
- Strong conceptual design capability with the ability to create unique, market-leading experiences and environments.
- Demonstrated success managing complex, large-scale developments from concept through completion.
- Exceptional design sensibility with a deep understanding of luxury lifestyle trends, materials, finishes, and spatial storytelling.
- Experience working with internationally recognised hospitality brands, luxury operators, or premium residential developers is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Ability to influence senior decision-makers and drive design excellence across multiple projects simultaneously.
