Overview

The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare project budgets, cost plans, and commercial reports
• Monitor project costs and assist in maintaining profitability targets
• Manage subcontractor procurement, tender evaluations, and contract administration
• Prepare and assess valuations, variations, and payment applications
• Support the negotiation and agreement of final accounts
• Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents to identify commercial risks and opportunities
• Track project progress against budget and forecast potential cost impacts
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers on commercial matters
• Ensure accurate record keeping and contractual compliance throughout project delivery
• Work closely with project managers and site teams to support successful project outcomes

Experience

Candidate Requirements

• To be considered for this role, candidates should have:
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the fit-out or interiors sector
• Strong understanding of commercial and office fit-out projects
• Experience managing variations, valuations, and final accounts
• Knowledge of procurement, contract administration, and cost control
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
• UAE experience is preferred, but not essential for candidates with strong fit-out experience gained elsewhere.
