Role Description
The Director HR & Admin – UAE National will lead the Human Resources and Administrative functions for the organization in Abu Dhabi in a full-time, on-site capacity.
This role will oversee the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and frameworks that support organizational goals and comply with UAE labor and employment laws.
Day-to-day responsibilities include managing employee relations, handling complex HR matters, guiding performance management cycles, and supporting managers with workforce planning and talent development.
The Director will also supervise administrative operations such as office services, documentation, and vendor coordination to ensure efficient and compliant business support.
The role involves partnering with senior leadership on organizational design, change management, and HR strategy, while fostering a culture of engagement, inclusion, and high performance.
Qualifications
- Strong Human Resources (HR) leadership experience, with a proven track record overseeing end-to-end HR functions in a mid to large-sized organization.
- Expertise in HR Policies and Performance Management, including developing, implementing, and improving frameworks that align with business objectives.
- Demonstrated ability in Employee Relations, including conflict resolution, grievance handling, and building a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
- Solid understanding of Labor and Employment Law in the UAE, with practical experience ensuring compliance in HR and administrative practices.
- UAE National with experience in Abu Dhabi or the wider UAE market, preferably in a leadership role within HR and Administration.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and support cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on process improvement and data-driven decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree or HR certification
