Role overview

Strategy and implementation

• Lead enterprise BIM strategy execution across development, design, construction, and operations.
• Lead BIM implementation across major capital projects and ensure consistency with organizational BIM requirements.
• Establish governance frameworks, standards, protocols, templates, and quality assurance processes.
• Oversee BIM execution planning, model management, information management, and data governance.

Digital integration and collaboration

• Integrate BIM with digital delivery platforms, Common Data Environments, GIS, digital twins, asset information systems, and project management tools.
• Collaborate across Development, Design, Engineering, Construction, Project Controls, Operations, and Technology.
• Monitor BIM maturity, compliance, performance metrics, and portfolio implementation effectiveness.

Capability and organizational leadership

• Establish BIM capability development programs, training initiatives, and knowledge-sharing practices.
• Evaluate emerging technology and industry innovations for digital project delivery and asset management.
• Guide BIM requirements in procurement, consultant engagement, and contractor selection.
• Manage implementation budgets, resources, and external service providers; represent the organization in relevant industry forums and stakeholder engagements.

Education and experience

• A bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Digital Engineering, Information Management, or a related field is required.
• A master's degree is preferred.
• Requires 12–15+ years of progressive experience in BIM, digital engineering, design management, project delivery, or construction technology.
• Requires experience leading BIM on large-scale real estate, infrastructure, mixed-use, or mega-development projects.
• Requires experience developing BIM standards, governance frameworks, digital delivery strategies, and implementing BIM technologies and information systems.
• Requires multidisciplinary team management and coordination across design, engineering, construction, and operational functions.
• Requires experience advising senior leadership on digital delivery strategy, BIM maturity, and innovation opportunities.

Preferred certifications

• BuildingSMART Certification, PMP, RICS, Autodesk Professional Certifications, ISO 19650 Certification, or equivalent is preferred.
