Architects and enables Virtual ECU development environments across virtualization levels for automotive applications.
Works with software, systems, validation, and platform teams on scalable simulation ecosystems, SIL frameworks, and automated validation.
Role includes virtualization strategy, simulation architecture, test automation, technical leadership, and customer engagement.
Responsibilities
- Support architecture design and solutioning for Virtual ECU programs; define virtualization strategies across L1 to L4.
- Develop, integrate, and simulate Virtual ECUs for automotive embedded software platforms.
- Design and execute SIL test plans, test cases, and validation strategies; develop and integrate plant models.
- Optimize simulation and testing environments; participate in reviews, identify risks, and recommend improvements.
- Set entry and exit criteria across virtualization and validation phases; ensure automotive quality and standards compliance.
- Drive test automation and continuous integration/validation pipelines; support customer discussions, workshops, and proposals.
- Mentor engineering teams on virtualization methodologies, simulation frameworks, and validation practices.
Role knowledge
- Experience in Agile/SCRUM ceremonies is listed.
- Understanding or awareness of ASAM XiL is listed.
